At Christow we aim to support children in developing their knowledge of the location of globally significant places - both terrestrial and maritime - with reference to their physical and human characteristics. We give children the opportunity to think about how different localities have changed or might change over time. We provide children with grounding in basic geographical skills including experiencing fieldwork to collect and analyse data and improve their map skills. We use a variety of media to equip them with knowledge about diverse places, people, resources and natural and human environments.
